Eng. Malima M. Bundara holds a PhD from the University of Dares Salaam. He is a Chattered Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years of experience in industry, business and the academia both within and outside Tanzania.

He is a Fellow of both the Institution of Engineers Tanzania and the African Scientific Institute based in the USA. He is also a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE) in UK and an Affiliate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (Aff.MASCE).

Eng. Bundara has served   as Chairman of both the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) and also as a Member of several Boards of Directors including the Fair Competition Tribunal (FCT) in Tanzania. He brings to the Board of Directors of TCAA his expertise and experience in engineering systems and regulation matters related to the Aviation industry.
